SAI GULF LABORATORIES

SAI Gulf is a joint venture of Sampling Associates International, LLC of Virginia and Sabine Surveyors, Ltd. of Texas.

SAI Gulf specializes in coal, coke and petcoke sampling and analysis. Its New Orleans laboratory is located on the river in Destrehan. This lab is linked with key Standard Labs locations on the river system including the Ohio, Big Sandy and Kanawaha. SAI Gulf also has particular expertise in the mechanical sampling of coal and petcoke. Currently, SAI mechanically samples over one half of the coal exported from the U.S. annually.

SAI is a partnership of four American owned testing labs: Hampton Roads Testing, Andrew S. McCreath & Son, Standard Laboratories and Tidewater Coal Inspection Bureau. The SAI Group has 45 laboratories in the U.S. Hampton Roads Testing, Tidewater Coals and McCreath serve the coal export markets on the East coast while Standard Labs network covers the entire inland U.S.

McCreath is also a world renowned assayer of minerals and metals. Through the McCreath lab in Harrisburg, PA, SAI Gulf provides inspection sampling and analysis of a wide range of waterborne commodities.

Sabine Surveyors, Ltd. brings to the group the full range of services in marine surveying, inspection and consulting, as well as, particular expertise in petroleum coke. Sabine covers the Gulf and East Coast from its offices in Port Arthur, Houston, New Orleans, Lake Charles, Mobile,Corpus Christi and Cape Canaveral. 

IINCOLAB SERVICES DE MEXICO

Incolab Serrvices de Mexico is a joint venture of Sabine Surveyors and Sampling Associates International.  Incolab specializes in inspection, sampling and testing services of dry bulk materials for industries in Mexico.

Incolab operates two laboratories, one each in Madero, Tamaulipas and Cadereyta, Nuevo Leon.  These laboratories provide services for petroleum coke production at local refineries as well as consumers of petroleum coke such as cement producers.  Incolab also provides services to the electric power industry and ferro alloy industry on products such as coal, furnace coke, ferro manganese and iron ore.
