Sabine Surveyors Ltd offers a full range of sampling services so that our customers can properly represent or document the quality of their dry bulk or liquid cargoes.  Verifying quality for export / import documentation and collecting representative samples for off spec cargoes are among the many sampling assignments we undertake on a daily basis.  Our surveyors follow ASTM (www.astm.org) standards in their sample collection methods and maintain strict custody control procedures to assure that an un-biased representative sample arrives at the specified laboratory for analysis.

Our expertise in the sampling of Dry Bulk cargoes lead to the formation of a strategic partnership in 1995 and SAI Gulf LLC was born.  Today, SAI Gulf LLC (www.saigulf.com), a partnership of Sabine Surveyors Ltd., Sampling Associates International (www.samplingassociates.com) and AJ Edmond Company (www.ajedmondco.com) operates at three different locations – New Orleans, LA -  Texas City, TX -  Mobile, AL.  Our personnel at these locations operate and maintain mechanical sampling systems that serve our coal and petroleum coke customers from around the world.  Full in-house coal and coke laboratories are operated at both the New Orleans and Texas City locations.
