Sabine Surveyors Ltd can perform bunker outturn surveys and bunker sampling to assist you in your fuel oil testing program or to verify quantities on your bunker stem.  Our highly trained surveyors utilize calibrated gauging instruments and Digital Thermo-probes to provide for the most accurate measurements.  Our surveyors are experts at interpolating tables, graphs and curves from the many different types of ships and bunker tankers built in different countries all over the world.

Our surveyors can obtain properly drawn continuous drip samples during bunkering and are familiar with the use of ships’ in line manifold sampling devices.

To insure quick processing of documentation and signing of bunker receipts after receiving a bunker stem our surveyors use laptop computers and well designed ISO quality forms and spreadsheets to calculate outturn from bunker tanker or shore tank to ship.  Our surveyors take pride in their professionalism and their ability to interact with ship’s officers from all over the world.  Our surveyors are always willing to assist Chief Engineers and Masters with properly documenting shortages on bunker stems and issuing letters of protests.  We will be happy to take custody of your samples, ship them to your testing lab and witness analysis if necessary.
