4S
The 4S Division of Sabine Surveyors Ltd was formed in January 2009 in order to provide technical services to ship/vessel owners in preparation for and during shipyard repair periods as well as technical representation for any purpose.
4S stands for Sabine Surveyors Shipyard Services and is a stand alone division of the company. Staffed by qualified marine engineers and technicians the division assists in project management and quality control in several areas.
Inspection Services
- Audio-gauging of hull and structure to determine diminution of structure dimension due to corrosion or other loss
- Level II and Level III technicians
- Weld quality control and inspection
- Coating inspections and determination
Project Management Services
- Preparation of budgets for maintenance
- Preparation of repair/maintenance specification in preparation for shipyard repair period
- Solicitation and qualification of bidders for work period
- Oversight of shipyard work
- Issuance of Change Orders
- Co-ordination of work with regulatory body inspections
- Negotiation and settlement of final invoices with vendors.

- Naval Architect, design and drafting services
- Stability calculations
- Technical Management
- System Failure Analysis and recommendation for revision/upgrade
